The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival In Virginia Marks Its 100th Year

One such celebration that you'll want to attend this year is the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival. This annual event will be all the more special this year as it celebrates its 100th year! Save the date for the sweetest event in the Shenandoah Valley: the Apple Blossom Festival! Lovingly referred to as The Bloom, this year's event is scheduled for April 26th through May 5th, 2024.

During these 10 days, the town of Winchester will be blossoming with events, ranging from cider tastings to golf competitions, tennis tournaments, special dining events, games, live music, pageantry, a country music party, and much, much more.

...and your appetites ready! Food vendors selling a variety of delicious goods will keep your energy levels sustained as you choose from over 40 unique events.

This year's event will be especially exciting as it's the 100th anniversary of the very first festival, which took place in 1924.

The very first festival, held on May 3, 1924, was a one-day event that took place at the old fairgrounds just off Fairmont Avenue.
