This Iconic Holiday Event in Vermont is the One Thing You Must Do This Season
Looking for a new family-friendly holiday event? Head to Spruce Peak in Stowe and catch the iconic show, A Charlie Brown Christmas Live in Concert.

The holidays are just around the corner and my holiday bucket list is already filled with tons of festive activities. All year, I look forward to my favorite annual traditions, such as viewing colorful light displays, visiting quaint Christmas towns, and watching my favorite Christmas movies, like “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” with my family. This iconic movie always reminds me of the true spirit of Christmas. This year, folks in Vermont can celebrate even more holiday fun with the Peanuts gang. The Spruce Peak resort in Stowe is showcasing a nostalgic live version of the classic Peanuts movie. A trip to see "A Charlie Brown Christmas Live in Concert" is guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit.

"A Charlie Brown Christmas Live in Concert" is a family-friendly show filled with favorite Peanuts characters, Vince Guaraldi’s musical number (you know the tune), and tons of festive fun. The 60-minute show is taking place at Stowe’s Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center from Dec. 12-24, 2024. Whether you are familiar with the iconic 1960s movie or are just being introduced to Snoopy and friends, you will surely leave the show with a happy heart.

And if you can't get enough of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, and the gang, there is even more Peanut’s fun to be had at Spruce Peak. The slope-side resort (formerly Stowe Mountain) has teamed up with Peanuts Worldwide for lots of fun with Snoopy and friends, including a package where concert ticket holders receive a 20% discount per night for lodging at the on-site hotel, The Lodge at Spruce Peak, a Destination by Hyatt Hotel. This cozy lodge offers amenities such as a gorgeous pool, an on-site restaurant, luxury rooms, and tons of recreational activities.
Whether you are a guest at the lodge or a visitor to the resort, you will have opportunities to take part in additional Peanuts-themed activities, including Sundaes with Snoopy at The Lodge, S’mores & Hot Chocolate with Snoopy at the Village Fireplace, and a special Charlie Brown Christmas Holiday Shop. You may even spot some favorite Peanuts characters when you take a spin on Spruce Peak’s ice skating rink. A photo opp with these memorable characters is Christmas card worthy for sure.
