Most People Have No Idea You Can Do This One Awesome Activity In Vermont

Calling all adrenaline junkies! Are you ready for a wild (and free!) adventure? Vermont has some beautiful quarries, and cliff jumping has become a wildly popular activity in our little state. Here we'll take a look at the Dorset Quarry in all its stunning glory, followed by a very cool GoPro video of various jumping locations that will have you holding your breath as the daring thrill seekers flip and turn their way from top to bottom.

The country's oldest commercial quarry.

The Dorset Quarry was first mined in 1785 and its marble was used to build the main branch of the New York Public Library and Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

Dorset Quarry

On hot summer days, dozens of people can be found basking in the sun and cooling down in this massive and stunningly beautiful quarry.

While many think the quarry is a public place, it is privately owned.

The owners have generously allowed visitors to enjoy the quarry, so please be respectful and keep it clean and litter free.

If you decide to jump, please use caution. Don't do more than you can handle!

The following video shows experienced cliff jumpers flip, zip line, skateboard and even jump in holding fireworks. This isn't for the faint of heart!

You won't believe this incredible video by Coulter Productions.
