This Whimsical Playground In Utah Is Straight Out Of The Wild West

Tired of the same boring swings and climbing structures? Take a look at this Wild West-themed playground at Veterans Memorial Park! It's located at 1985 W. 7800 S. in West Jordan.

This playground is set up like an Old West Town. It's the perfect spot to inspire the imagination.

The park is constructed with TREX decking, so you don't have to worry about slivers.

There are tons of structures for hide-and-seek or games of pretend.

The park is separated into two sections: one for kids ages 1-5 and one for kids 5-12.

If your kids love slides, they're gonna love this park!

From little slides for the tiniest kids...

...To bumpy slides...

...To curvy tunny slides...

...There's a slide for pretty much everyone here.

Many Utah places are represented at this playground including Bingham Canyon Mine, Promontory Point and Salt Air.

Here's one of the trains representing Promontory Point.

The park includes plenty of benches and restrooms. It's also under video surveillance by the West Jordan Police Department to keep everyone safe.

The only bad thing about this park? Getting your kids to leave might be tricky!

Discover Park, in Pleasant Grove, is similar to this West Jordan gem. I'd love to feature it, but can't find any photos! If you've been to the Pleasant Grove park, share your pics and details with us!

While you're on the south side of the Salt Lake Valley, take a trip out to Herriman to see the Up House!
