This Whimsical Light Show In Austin Is Straight Out of a Fairy Tale

What happens when dozens of Austin artists flock toward Waller Creek and shower the parks with light? Why, that would be The Creek Show, of course! This annual display, now in its fourth year, fills downtown Austin with vibrant rays of light. From November 10th through 18th, these glittering displays will sparkle and dazzle. Head over to Waller Creek between 5th and 8th streets. This whimsical light show in Austin is straight out of a fairy tale.

Waller Creek always shines with beauty, but it's about to get a facelift.

Now in its fourth year, this magical light show benefits The Waller Creek Conservancy. This nonprofit helps to create a chain of parks along Austin's Waller Creek, and they strive to promote a healthy environment and bring the community together.

The art installations change every year, and they always take your breath away.

This year, The Creek Show will feature six different installations across Waller Creek. These shimmering displays always burst with creativity and vibrance.

Begin your journey at the Creek Show Lounge and learn all about the fantastic activities in store!

The lounge, located at 700 E. 6th St, is open every day of the Creek Show from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Here, Austinites can learn about the new renovation projects happening along Waller Creek, take colorful selfies at the photo booth, and explore the area parks through a virtual reality experience.

This exhilarating event is full of wonder, and the best part? It's completely free!

That's right! Attending The Creek Show won't cost you a cent. To sweeten the deal, many nearby businesses will also offer discounts for those wearing a Creek Show wristband.
