Watch Movies On A Mattress And Eat Unlimited Popcorn This Summer In Texas

The Bed Cinema offers a unique outdoor movie experience with mattresses instead of chairs, coming to Houston this summer.

Drive-in movie theatres are awesome because of the nostalgia they impart, but truck beds aren't exactly the most comfortable places to lounge. That's precisely why The Bed Cinema, an outdoor film watching experience with mattresses instead of chairs, was created. It's coming to Houston this summer, bringing unlimited popcorn and a food truck to guarantee an epic time for all.

This summer, "The World's Most Comfortable Cinema" will be visiting Houston. Over 150 double beds complete with pillows, blankets, and LED-lit bedside tables make for the most relaxing movie theater experience you've ever had.

Each mattress can accommodate 2-4 people, so cozy up with your other half or invite a few friends for the most epic chill fest ever. Talk about a fun time! As an alternative to lying in bed, you're welcome to bring a picnic blanket to set up beside your group.

Although we aren't sure of the exact films scheduled to be shown, rest-assured young and old alike will enjoy. Past years have included some tried-and-true classics, so we have no doubt guests will be on the edge of their seats... or beds, rather.

Free popcorn will be available, so feel free to munch all throughout the film! Rumor has it, the butter and salt are perfectly proportioned in every batch.

There will also be a food truck onsite, so prepare for some delicious noms. Make sure to wear your comfy pants!

Houston dates are Wednesday, June 24 thru Sunday, June 28 from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. each night. Tickets will be on sale soon on a first-come, first-served basis.

Visit The Bed Cinema's official website or Facebook page to learn more and purchase tickets when they become available.
