A Horde Of Zombies Is Coming To South Dakota And You’ll Want To Join Them
There is a horde of zombies coming to Sioux Falls this weekend, and you're going to want to join them. Check this out!
On October 28th, the streets of Sioux Falls will be crawling with the Undead.
The Zombie Walk is one of South Dakota's most popular Halloween events, and it's all to benefit charity. This year's charity is Ladder of Smiles.
This fun, family-friendly event has taken place since 2006, and has continued to grow every year.
To participate, you'll need to register at the El Riad Shrine at 510 S. Philips Avenue.
Registration is held from 2PM to 5PM. It's $3 per person - kids 12 and under are free.
Get your zombie makeup applied for just $5.
Gather together with all the zombies to participate in the Zombie Walk.
The parade starts at 5 PM on the corner of 13th Street and 1st Avenue.
Food vendors will be present to feed the hoards of hungry zombies...as long as they're looking for hot dogs and not brains.
After the parade, join the Aftermath Party at The Nickel Spot.
The party includes two costume contests with $100 prizes, Awake the Dead Karaoke, and live music by Seventh Calling. You must be 21 or older to attend.
There's also a Halloween Bash for those 21 and older at the El Riad Shrine. Tickets are $15. Doors open at 7PM; dance at 9:15PM. Music by On The Fritz.
What are you waiting for? Gather up your tattered clothing, practice your zombie stagger and make plans to join the fun!
