These Fireworks Displays In South Dakota Will Drop Your Jaw

Independence Day is right around the corner, which means it's time to plan how you're going to spend it. The best way to celebrate the Fourth of July is pulling up a lawn chair and a cooler at some beautiful displays of fireworks held all over South Dakota. Unfortunately, many places can't have fireworks due to environmental factors, but there are still plenty you can attend. Here are some of the best displays of fireworks in the state.
1. Black Hills Roundup, Belle Fourche
Enjoy some fireworks after the 97th Annual Black Hills Roundup Rodeo festivities held all weekend long. The fireworks will be featured after a concert. There's so much to enjoy there this Independence Day!

When: Fireworks after the 7:00 PM concert, July 3rd
2. Custer Fourth of July Event
As soon as the sun sets over Pageant Hill in Custer, a fantastic display of beautiful fireworks will be hosted for all who attend to enjoy.

When: Dusk, July 4th
3. Gold Camp Jubilee, Lead
This is one of the largest fireworks shows in the Black Hills and will make your Independence Day a memorable one. Enjoy all the events Lead has to offer the whole weekend and finish it off with spectacular bursts of light!

When: Dusk, July 4th
4. Hot Springs July 4th Celebration
Bring the family into Hot Springs to watch the amazing display they put on each year. Don't forget to pack the cooler to enjoy some refreshments while you watch, and then you'll have your perfect Fourth of July!

5. Frontier Days 2016, Interior
One of the oldest rodeos in South Dakota is also host to one of the biggest fireworks displays directly following the events. As soon as the exciting, rough riding rodeo has concluded and the sun has set, sit back and enjoy the show.

When: At dusk on July 3rd, and directly following the conclusion of the rodeo on July 4th
