What began as a public art project in 2005 has now been brilliantly transformed into a living tribute to freedom of expression in the heart of Rapid City.

You’ll find this extraordinary alley that’s unlike any other situated right between 6th and 7th streets. From free-form graffiti murals to pop art cultural works, a stroll through this area will expose you to some serious local and visiting talent.

Although this alley is unfortunately a victim of graffiti from time to time, it’s not an area that just anyone can have a free pass to. The city is working to ensure that its prestige and original purpose to act as stunning expression of creativity is upheld.

At virtually every glance, you’ll find a unique work of art to set your eyes upon.

From beautiful pieces inspired by our state's history and Native American heritage....
