Sweet Dreams Scare House In South Carolina Is So Scary You Have To Sign A Waiver
Sweet Dreams Scare House in Easley, South Carolina, offers an intense and horrifying haunted house experience, including an optional R-Rated version for thrill-seekers.
If there's a haunted house in South Carolina that will rattle your senses and ruin you for all other haunted house experiences for the rest of your life, it has to be the Sweet Dreams Scare House. With all of the haunted houses in the state, what makes this one so special? For starters, you can elect to have an R-Rated experience - and for that... you'll have to be at least 18 and sign a waiver. Here's what makes this the scariest haunted house in South Carolina!
Sweet Dreams Scare House in Easley was rated the scariest Halloween spot in South Carolina in 2018 by The Scare Factor — and it's easily the most intense and horrifying haunted house experience you'll have, in your life.
If you're into creepy, horrible, mind-bending fun, then go ahead and spring for the extra $5 to have the R-Rated experience.
That is... if you don't mind being touched or even dragged off (... we're not kidding!) by the zombies, cannibals, and ghouls that haunt the night at this popular freak show that fires up each Halloween.
Mind you, the R-Rated experience isn't for everyone, so you can opt to have the 'regular' creepy, awful, sickening experience everyone else has — but without the fear of being handled, cursed at, or hauled away like a sack of potatoes. But what would be the fun in that??
Do you have the courage to survive the vulgar R-Rated experience unscathed in South Carolina's most haunted attraction?
Sweet Dreams Scare House is consistently lauded for their actors, costumes, fright factor, special effects, and customer service. And safety precautions are in place behind the scenes to assure no one gets (seriously) injured (but read the waiver carefully) — or actually eaten by a cannibal. However, you may want to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
Taking the R-Rated tour means you'll need to sign a waiver and be at least 18 years of age. (Don't forget to bring your ID.) Tickets to Sweet Dreams Scare House also include a free escape room experience — which seems terrifying, given the cannibals that roam the property at night.
If ever there was a haunted house in South Carolina worth driving all the way to the other side of the state and spending the night after (although you won't be getting any shut-eye... ) it's the Sweet Dreams Scare House in Easley.
Have you experienced the Sweet Dreams Scare House in previous years? We'd love to know about your R-Rated experience!
Sweet Dreams Scare House opens from late September through the beginning of November on Friday and Saturday nights as well as a few additional nights during the week leading up to Halloween. See the calendar of open dates here. Tickets are $20 (non-R-Rated experience), $25/R-Rated tickets, and $15/kids 10 and under. Order online ahead of time and save a few bucks on each ticket. The attraction opens to victims (err... visitors) at 8 p.m. and closes when all of the cannibals are full, or the crowd dies down - whichever comes first.
