There’s A Sunset BBQ Cruise Happening In South Carolina And It’s As Delicious As It Sounds
Enjoy a memorable Blues and BBQ Sunset Cruise on the Carolina Queen in Charleston harbor.
If you've never sailed aimlessly around the Charleston harbor enjoying an evening of swift ocean breezes aboard a riverboat, then this is the year to find a way to make it happen. The charming river cruiser, Carolina Queen, has just the event to pull you off your sofa for the evening and onto the water for a sunset cruise you won't soon forget.
Every Thursday evening through November 7th, and on each first Friday of the month, Carolina Queen departs the Charleston City Marina at 7 p.m. for their Blues and BBQ Sunset Cruise.
The triple-deck cruiser turns into a floating restaurant with views like no other eatery in town.
Sit on one of the open-air decks and enjoy all-you-can-eat BBQ. There's no limit to the views OR the food.
The buffet-style eats mean you can dig in when — and where — you want, even as you sail under the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge.
All the while... enjoying the soulful blues music of the legendary Gary Erwin, a.k.a. Shrimp City Slim.
Top off the evening with a nightcap (or more) from the cash bar and sit back and enjoy the most beautiful way to experience a Lowcountry sunset: from the water!
The Blues and BBQ Cruise leaves each Thursday from Charleston City Marina at 17 Lockwood Drive, Charleston at 7:00 p.m. Boarding begins at 6:30 p.m. Cruises last two hours and the cost is $48.95/person. Learn more at this link.
Don't want to go home after the cruise? Here's another unique after-dark activity you can schedule back-to-back with this awesome cruise!
