Here’s your ultimate guide to catching the most fetching fireworks displays in and around the San Francisco Bay Area this Independence Day weekend. We recommend you start warming up your neck and practicing your ooh’s and ahh’s now. Have fun out there!

1. San Francisco’s 4th of July Celebration at The Pier
Make your way over to Aquatic Park or Fisherman’s Wharf (Pier 39) or take a sunset bay cruise to catch the big show. Fireworks start at 9:30pm on July 4. Find more info here.
2. 4th of July at Berkeley Marina
Catch this display at the Berkeley Pier, fireworks starting at 9:35pm. Swing by early (starting at noon) for live entertainment and activities for the whole family. Find more info here.
3. Sausalito’s 4th of July Festivities
This whole-day extravaganza in Sausalito starts with a parade, then a picnic in Dunphy Park, live music in Gabrielson Park, followed by fireworks over the bay at 9:20pm. Find more info here.
4. 4th of July at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View
The San Francisco Symphony soundtracks this spectacular fireworks show at the Shoreline Amphitheater. This year will feature music from classic flicks like Star Wars, E.T., and Raiders of the Lost Ark. Show starts at 8pm. Tickets can be purchased here.
5. Alameda County Fairgrounds’ 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular
The Oakland Symphony will be providing the music for this fireworks display in Pleasanton. Show starts at 9:30pm. The best views can be found at the Budweiser Grandstand at the Horse Racing Track.
