Knickerbocker Music Center In Westerly Rhode Island is the Best Place to Spend a Fun Night Out

There's not much better than a good night out with friends and family. At some point all of us crave an evening full of good food, delicious drinks, and some top notch entertainment. Luckily, Rhode Island has no shortage of spots to get exactly that. We really like The Knickerbocker Music Center and taproom for a great place to get your party on!

The Knickerbocker has been around since 1933, when it was called the Knickerbocker Café. It opened shortly after the end of prohibition to many excited patrons.

The space is named after a train that used to pass through Westerly station when the club was first built.

Nowadays the Kickerbocker functions as two separate spaces, the taproom, and the music center.

There are performances in both spaces, but the taproom is more intimate and also offers a full menu and bar.

The food is delicious pub fare with an upscale twist, think slider burgers but with tomato confit and truffle aioli. Definitely the way to start your night off right and fuel and evening of revelry.

And make sure to grab a signature cocktail if you'd like!

Many nights there is performance is both spaces and if you're feeling wacky you can go to two shows when the times line up right!
