The Rhode Island Wine Tour You’ll Absolutely Love

Relaxation is never difficult to find in Rhode Island. Finding the time in a jam-packed schedule, however, can sometimes make that relaxation seem elusive. If you enjoy visiting the many wineries throughout the state – it is home to more than a dozen – carve out some time to take a one-of-a-kind Rhode Island wine tour.

Slip into a classic Jaguar for a unique tour of several local vineyards with Newport Jaguar Tours, which offers both half-day and full-day tours all year.

Each stop at a vineyard will include wine tastings.

Headed by a seasoned guide, the unique Rhode Island tour is private and accommodates between two and four guests, depending on the type of Jaguar.

Tours with four guests will feature a saloon motorcar and require at least two passengers. All other Jaguars seat up to two tour-goers. You can also upgrade to a convertible. Only the tour guide is permitted to drive the car.

If you don’t have a lot of time, reserve one of the half-day tours, which lasts three hours. Morning tours include a stop at one vineyard and a tour of Newport while afternoon tours feature two vineyards.

The full-day wine-tasting tour features stops at four Rhode Island vineyards. Stops may include Newport Vineyards, Greenvale Vineyards, and Sakkonet Vineyards.

Whether you’re taking the half-day or the full-day tour, you can also add on a luxurious picnic lunch for an additional fee. Tucked in an old-fashioned picnic basket, lunch will include gourmet foods.

You must let the tour company know that you want to add the picnic option at least 48 hours prior to your tour.

If you’re taking a full-day tour, you’ll stop for lunch midway through the day. When you make your reservation, let Newport Jaguar Tours know that you want the fine dining experience, and your tour guide will give you several restaurants from which to choose.

You can also add the picnic option, instead of the fine dining, for the full-day tour.

It's a truly unique way to experience the best of Rhode Island's wine scene.

Book your tour on the Newport Jaguar Tours website. Or, stop by its Facebook page.
