Take This Fall Foliage Train Ride In Rhode Island For A Truly Magical Experience

Fall is upon us in Little Rhody! It's time to dig out your favorite sweaters and get out there and enjoy the gorgeous changes in foliage, fun fall activities, and wonderful seasonal festivals. While there are dozens of great trails for fall hikes in Rhode Island, why not do something a little differently this year?

The Blackstone Valley Fall Foliage Train Ride is a unique way to experience the fall like never before!

You can experience the changes in foliage right from your seat on this two hour train ride.

The train, known as the Polar Express Train, is a fantastic ride through historic Blackstone Valley.

It departs at 9:00 am from the Blackstone Valley Train Depot in Woonsocket and takes you through vibrant changing leaves, historic landmarks and parks, and so many more beautiful sights.

The final destination is the charming annual Pumpkin Festival and Fall Bazar in Putnam, Connecticut.

Other activities and attractions include a farmers market, local shopping, and fantastic restaurants near the train stop.

At 2:30 riders will board the train again and enjoy their lovely return voyage back to the train station in Woonsocket.

This event will be occurring on Saturday, October 22nd and will last from 9:00am until 4:30pm.
