The Alex and Ani Center in downtown Providence is currently the only place in the entire country that offers outdoor bumper cars on ice, and this unique all-ages activity is the perfect way to spend a winter day chasing away those cabin fever blues. As you'll see, Rhode Islanders can't get enough!

The Alex and Ani City Center in Kennedy Plaza is the only outdoor ice rink in the entire United States where you can enjoy bumper cars on ice. It's become incredibly popular in a very short time, and it's easy to see why.

The Providence Rink has always been a fantastic winter wonderland for skating, but the addition of ice bumper cars makes this local favorite even more exciting.

These unique, free-range bumper cars whip around the ice (safely!) and are controlled by a 360-degree joystick. It's the perfect family activity!

New hours of operation will accommodate shared and exclusive ice time for bumper cars and ice skating. You'll also find bumper car-only hours as well.

At night, the bumper cars light up for a completely different experience...and an increased challenge!

Please note that while Rhode Islanders are hardy, frigid temperatures will not stop the bumper cars! Be sure to dress warmly and wear gloves. If you forget, you can buy hand warmers, gloves, and hats in the rink office.
