The Pittsburgh skyline is one of the most beautiful in the country, and we have no shortage of spots to admire it. However, for some of the most sensational views of the shimmering skyline, make your way to the West End Overlook in Pittsburgh.

Mount Washington is the prime spot for beautiful views of the downtown Pittsburgh skyline. No matter where you go, you're pretty much guaranteed a great view.

However, if you're looking for a different view than the one you'll see on Mount Washington, you can't go wrong with a visit to the West End Overlook, tucked into the West End-Elliott Overlook Park in the Elliott neighborhood.

Whether you visit during the day or at night, embark on a leisurely stroll past manicured gardens and under the protective shade of the trees.

As you walk along the path, you'll see the city skyline come into view, offering a glimpse at the downtown Pittsburgh skyline and of...

...city neighborhoods. You've just stumbled upon one of the best places to take photos in the city.

It's pretty much impossible to tire of incredible views, so you'll definitely want to visit the West End Overlook in each season. (You'll even find an area to sit and relax.)
