14 Terrifying Things In Oklahoma That Can (And Just Might) Kill You

There are certain precautions that Oklahomans should take when living in the Sooner State. From tigers to octopuses to angry fans, Oklahoma has some unique dangers.  Here are 14 terrifying things that can (and just might) kill you:

1. Many drownings in Oklahoma have been speculated to be caused by giant lake octopuses that have adapted to fresh water.

2. Oklahoma has a thing with tigers getting loose, so take caution the next time you are near a zoo. Remember "Tigernado?"

3. Oklahoma claims 7 species of venomous snakes, so be aware if you encounter a Copperhead, Cottonmouth (Water Mocasin), Coral, Pygmy Rattlesnake, Timbler Rattler, Prairie Rattler, or Diamondback Rattler.

4. Country drivers in the city or city drivers in the country. It seems we all have a certain way of driving. Small town people think city folks are dangerous and vice versa.

5. Brown Recluse Spiders...enough said.
