Drive Through The Wachtel Family Christmas Lights Display, A Northeast Ohio Tradition For More Than 60 Years

Some holiday traditions get better with time. The Wachtel Family Christmas Lights Display at Spring Walk Farms in Big Prairie, Ohio is a beloved drive-thru holiday display that will make your Christmas season merry and bright. If you happen to be in northeast Ohio this year for the holidays, this is one display you'll want to add to your holiday bucket list.

A family tradition for 70 years, the Wachtel's Christmas Lights Display is a Holmes County favorite.

You'll find it along Township Road 503 in Big Prairie, Ohio.

Each November, family, friends, and other volunteers are hard at work to make this magical display possible.

Note: Admission to the display is free, but donations are always appreciated.

Kids will especially enjoy this whimsical display, which features more than 52,000 lights, 90 spotlights and 400 figurines.

The Wachtel's Christmas Light Display runs nightly from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. from Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve.
