This Summer, The Water Lantern Festival Will Light Up The Night In Ohio

Coming to four different Ohio cities this year, the Water Lantern Festival is a truly enchanting event that celebrates the nature of life in a magical way. It's a one-of-a-kind experience you won't soon forget.

The Water Lantern Festival is a magical, nationwide festival that takes place in select cities across America during the summer months.

Dates and times for the festival vary according to state and city location.

This year, the 2021 Water Lantern Festival will take place in four Ohio cities: Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Dayton.

A celebration of life, this one-of-a-kind festival features food vendors, music, and hundreds of water lanterns.

Each ticket includes a floating lantern, commemorative drawstring bag, marker, and a wristband.

Attendees adorn their lanterns with inspiring, positive messages of hope—and when the sun sets they all take float. It's an enchanting sight to behold.

Each and every one of the lanterns, which are made from rice paper and wood, are collected at the end of the event. The LED candles are also reused and recycled in an effort to make the event as eco-friendly as possible.

The Cincinnati Water Lantern Festival will take place on July 10 at Eden Park, with gates opening at 6:30 p.m.
