Stroll Back In Time Through Ohio Life In The 1800s At Century Village

There are several historic towns and villages in Ohio that offer a fascinating look into the past. Century Village in Burton, Ohio features a restored town that showcases life in Geauga County in the early 1800s. Whether you're an Ohio history buff that's romanced by the past or you're the average Ohio explorer on the hunt for hidden gems, it's the perfect place to explore when you'd like to step back in time for a bit.

Open daily from sunrise to sunset, this charming village is free for the public to explore from the outside any time of year.

You'll find it along E Park Street in Burton, Ohio.

The village features restored shops, homes and other buildings. Pictured is the Hitchcock House, which was moved to the property in 1971 and beautifully restored to its former glory.

Note: The Crossroads Museum Store is open Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
