In 1960, Charles Holtman opened a sweet little donut shop in Newtown where his family began the tradition that is now a favorite in Cincinnati.

The shop now has four locations around Cincinnati, making their delicious donuts accessible to even more hungry locals.

Picking up a box of donuts at Holtman's is arguably the best way to do breakfast in Cincinnati.

There's often a line out the door, and it's best to visit early to make sure you get your favorite variety. The ambiance of each shop differs, but the friendly staff and sugary smells are the same at each location.

The Holtman family has always made their sweet concoctions from scratch daily, and you can taste the freshness.
