Everyone Should Take This Spectacular Holiday Trail Of Lights In North Dakota This Season

Who doesn't love to see glittering holiday lights to get into the Christmas spirit? Even if you've already perused your local neighborhood to see what your own community has put together, you can still see more. Take this holiday lights trail through North Dakota to experience some of the prettiest displays that anyone is welcome to see.

Take a cheerful road trip across eastern and central North Dakota to see some beautiful light displays on this holiday lights trail.

The first stop on the route is in Wahpeton, North Dakota's beautiful Chahinkapa Park.

The town of Wahpeton has a beautiful park right on the Red River that has been decked out with holiday lights for everyone to enjoy. The park is open for people to drive through and enjoy the colorful display every evening of December starting at dusk.

After checking out that display, head north to Fargo and stop by Lindenwood Park

Fargo's lovely Lindenwood Park has been getting dressed up in dazzling lights every year thanks to the FM Sertoma Club. You can stay in the warmth of your car as you cruise down Roger Maris Drive and see the many displays. It's open every night of December.

Next you'll be headed even further north - but not quite to Santa's place - and make a stop in Grand Forks.

The Lions Clubs of Grand Forks takes over Lincoln Park and transforms it into a Christmas wonderland. With many bright and colorful displays, the whole family can enjoy this trip.

The next stop is Oak Park in Minot for another fantastic park lights display that anyone can drive through and appreciate.

These kind of light displays work perfectly for a road trip because you never have to leave your car! Enjoy this Christmas display at Oak Park without having to go into the chill outside your car.

And for our last stop, a totally decked out house in Minot that has made a name for itself with incredible displays.

You'll easily be amazed at this insane display. The Olson residence has taken Christmas decorating to an extreme with an amazing amount of lights and set ups. The family welcomes everyone to stop by and see it - and it's worth the visit! It'll certainly get you into the Christmas spirit after you see the impressive home.
