Break Your Way Out Of Themed Escape Rooms At Escape Time Adventures In New York

If you're not familiar with escape rooms, the concept is really neat. You and a team of friends are locked into an enclosed area and then given a specific amount of time (typically one hour) to find clues that will help you escape. The clues require different skill sets to figure out, and it's great fun to work cooperatively with friends to solve the puzzles! There are many escape rooms in New York, and one popular one that we love is Escape Time Adventures in Wappingers Falls.

One notable aspect of escape rooms is how immersive they are. Escape Time Adventures looks like a typical strip mall business, located right in between a dentist and dog trainer.

But when you enter the building, you're transported to another world. Escape Time Adventures has three themed rooms that will let you temporarily escape reality as you and your friends solve puzzles.

Escape Time Adventures' newest room is The Lost Tomb. This Mayan-themed adventure offers two unique paths: do you want to be the hero or the villain?

Your gameplay experience will depend on which path you choose. Many play twice for the full effect!

The Dragon's Curse room is a medieval-themed dual-chamber game where you have to escape a dungeon. You and your friends play as wizards who must rescue the land from the evil Ice Witch.

The final option at Escape Time Adventures is the popular VooDoo Swamp. This Louisiana-themed three-chamber game places you right into the bayou. You must defeat the nefarious swamp walkers by solving ritualistic puzzles.

You'll only spend one hour in the escape room. It may not seem like much time, but you'll be shocked at how immersed you can get in just 60 minutes.
