1. SplashDown Beach Water Park, Fishkill

Known for being America's Big Little Water Park,

SplashDown Beach has a ton of rides that you won't find at other New York water parks. One of their most exciting rides is the Humunga Half-Pipe, which happens to be the only zero gravity half-pipe in all of the Empire State. With plunging water slides, wave pools and other various rides, there's something for guests of all ages to enjoy at this gem of Dutchess County.

2. Enchanted Forest Water Safari, Old Forge

Named one of the best water parks in America last year, Enchanted Forest Water Park is almost definitively our favorite to visit in all of New York. A family favorite getaway to take for over 60 years now, the park has transformed over the years. Now home to insane water slides and other water-based rides, you'll dread having to leave this exciting place.

3. Splish Splash, Calverton

Out on Long Island in Suffolk County is a water park that's well worth the drive.

Splish Splash offers a variety of attractions that will appeal to everyone in your family, and even has tube slides and body slides that will give you a thrill.

4. Seabreeze Amusement Park, Rochester

Just along the north end of Irondequoit Bay in Rochester is an incredible water park that gives you a view of our natural water just off in the distance. With more than 70 different attractions at this park, it's nearly impossible to run out of adventures to take at Seabreeze Amusement Park!

5. Thunder Island, Fulton

Nestled along the Oswego River in the city of Fulton, Thunder Island opens every year towards the end of June. A water park that also offers other attractions like mini golf, go-karting, ziplining and other fun activities, this spot is a great place to visit if you find yourself in or around the area of Central New York.

6. Zoom Flume, East Durham

Just an hour south of Albany, this spot is one that's secluded but still quite close to the Capital Region. Part of Greene County, Zoom Flume has the backdrop of our beautiful forestry all while you're enjoying this fantastic family-friendly water park. From the kid-friend areas where little ones can wade in the pond to more thrilling rides that will leave you speechless, everyone will enjoy a trip to this Catskills destination.

7. Roseland Waterpark, Canandaigua

Enjoy a day trip out to the Finger Lakes where places like Roseland Waterpark have something extraordinary to offer visitors. Not only does the property features your typical waterpark made up of exciting slides and tubing adventures, but you can also experience inflatable fun out at the marina.

8. Darien Lake Splashtown, Corfu

Darien Lake's Splashtown is one of our absolute favorite parts about visiting this Western New York theme park. Almost right between Buffalo and Rochester, the park is just under an hour away from both of these major cities. From insane rides like the Brain Drain and Tornado to lazy rivers and smile-inducing slides, every water park attraction you could want is waiting for you here.

9. Six Flags/Hurricane Harbor, Queensbury

Just ten minutes outside of the village of Lake George is one of our most adrenaline-inducing attractions of Upstate New York. Make your way past jaw-dropping rides and roller coasters and go to the back of the park where the grand Hurricane Harbor awaits you. A great spot to take the younger crowd, this diverse water park is the perfect way to cool down after exploring the larger amusement park.
