This museum displays antique, collectible, fine, and handcrafted miniatures that are as whimsical as they are fascinating to look at. There's no other museum quite like this in New Mexico.
Among the miniature displays you'll encounter are charming vintage and dollhouses as well as furniture, themed displays with figurines, and videos and signage showing the backgrounds of the artists and stories behind each piece.
The curious displays certainly invoke a sense of wonder, no matter what age you are. Perhaps they will even remind you of your childhood.
Each and every house has so much intricate detail from the furniture to the decor to the figurines and more. You could look at a piece for hours and probably discover something new!
If you have kids with you, there's a children's play area with dolls and playhouses, a desk with drawing supplies, and building blocks. They'll love it here!
The Miniatures & Curious Collections Museum is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is free but donations are gladly accepted.
