This is the Expo New Mexico flea market, located at the New Mexico fairgrounds in Albuquerque. It is the state’s largest and oldest open-air market and is definitely worth a visit. Let’s take a closer look.
The flea market is home to approximately 1,300 vendors, meaning you'll spend all weekend trying to see all the spectacular items for sale here!
The best part? This annual tradition is open YEAR-ROUND!
Among the many items for sale: fresh fruits and vegetables, antiques, old vinyl collections, clothes, and more.
The flea market attracts hundreds of customers every weekend and for the low admission fee, it's no wonder!
Admission may vary from year to year, but for less than a cup of coffee, it's absolutely worth it. Parking is even free in the Central and California lots. If you're transporting more people, try parking at Gate 3, which has one flat rate.
Many of the vendors here offer one-of-a-kind handmade items as well, in addition to brand new merchandise that is hard to find in brick-and-mortar stores.
Once you start to feel hunger pangs, you can stop by the food vendors for a tasty meal. There are plenty to choose from, with many offering our favorite dishes iconic to the Southwest. Try out a breakfast burrito or a bowl of posole.
