It’s Bizarre To Think That New Mexico Is Home To The Country’s Largest Collection Of Bronze Dinosaur Skeletons, But It’s True

New Mexico is home to enough attractions and natural beauty that planning an entire week of fun isn't hard at all. But, some of our favorite things to do include taking in the history and natural landscape of the state. That's why we love this cool museum in New Mexico! Natural history seems to come alive here, at the country's largest collection of full-scale bronze dinosaur skeletons!

Welcome to the Mesalands Dinosaur Museum and Natural Science Laboratory in Tucumcari! This cool museum in New Mexico is part of the Mesalands Community College and offers an incredibly unique experience to visitors.

Based out of the community college, the student of foundry create the incredible skeleton made of bronze that can be found here.

Along with the skeleton, paleontology students conduct research on bones and other specimens found nearby.

While there are many museums dedicated to dinosaurs around the world, this one is particularly special due to the level of detail. This is the result of actual students conducting most of the work.

The outside of the building is unremarkable, but inside you'll find a modern and stunning museum.

Many of the skeletons are displayed in actual dioramas.

Of course, the level of detail is fantastic, which is why this is such a special place to visit.

From plants to animals, there's so much to take in here related to the Jurassic period. Step inside and get lost in a world that existed long before any of us.
