On a day when it's too hot, cold, or rainy to be outside, there are few things I love more than browsing a bookstore. I've lost track of the number of amazing books I've found while just aimlessly scanning the shelves. And as much as the Barnes & Noble at my local mall has an amazing selection, there's something truly special about an independent bookstore. That personal touch is definitely present at what might be the most unique bookstore in New Jersey, The Nature of Reading Bookshop. This tiny Madison storefront is decked out in decorations designed to evoke the great outdoors, complete with many beautiful touches that make you feel like you've found that perfect outdoor nook under a tree to read a book - only without having to worry about mosquitos or rain!
