New Jersey’s Cherry Blossom Festival Is The Most Beautiful Way To Celebrate Spring

Branch Brook Park, the nation's first county park, is located in the North Ward of Newark and the Township of Belleville.

The park spans 360 spectacular acres, home to the largest collection of cherry blossom trees in the United States.

You'll find over 4,000 cherry blossom trees, and we've been celebrating their beauty for 43 years.

Branch Brook Park's Cherry Blossom Festival runs from April 6 to April 14 and includes races and runs, with the best events yet to come!

On Saturday (4/13), you'll find a 1K Fun Run and Family Day. Running from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., there will be a stunt show, drummers, a fishing derby, food vendors, face painting, and more.

Sunday (4/14) brings the biggest crowds and the most fun to the New Jersey Cherry Blossom Festival! It's Bloomfest! It includes Japanese cultural demonstrations, children's activities, live music, a crafter's marketplace, food, and more!

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy dancers, drummers, Samurai swords, kimono demonstrations, sushi demonstrations, drawing demonstrations, and of course, beautiful New Jersey cherry blossoms! Best of all, it's FREE.
