We are well into the fall season, but there are still a couple more weeks of some great fall attractions and activities. We've already told you about some corn mazes and pumpkin patches here in Missouri, now let's get to the scary stuff. These haunted houses vary in age and scare level, so make sure you check them out before you go, and many might be too scary for kids (or wimpy adults). Here are 14 awesome haunted attractions in Missouri. Catch them while you can and just in time for Halloween!
1. The Darkness - St. Louis
2015 Season: October through November 1st with special events throughout the year. See website for hours.

Features: In its 22nd year, The Darkness is now FOUR haunted attractions in one location for one price including the two story Darkness Haunted House, Terror Visions 3D Haunted House, New Outdoor Scare Zone and the Monster Museum and gift store.

2. Creepyworld - Fenton

3. The Abyss: The Haunting of Lemp Brewery - St. Louis

Features: Underground caves and tunnels in the legendary haunted Lemp Brewery. No animations or fake monsters, but no LIGHT either.

6. The Beast - Kansas City
