You Could Spend Hours At This Outdoor Vintage Market In Michigan
With the warmer months arriving at the Great Lake State, it means spending time on the water, hanging out at county fairs, and visiting farmer’s markets. But many Michiganders look forward to seeing a vintage market in Kalamazoo, Michigan that’s unlike any other in the state. If you’re obsessed with vintage clothing and groovy knick-knacks, you’ll love this outdoor event.
Vintage in the Zoo is a funky and hip market in the heart of Downtown Kalamazoo in Southwest Michigan.
The market is held every second Saturday from May through October and completely takes over downtown Kalamazoo. Food trucks, a live DJ, and more than 60 vendors are spread out over The Mall (Kalamazoo’s downtown area) and a nearby greenspace.
In 2022, Vintage in the Zoo was voted by Domino magazine as the top vintage market in Michigan. We can see why because vendors from all over the Midwest travel to sell at this unique marketplace.
Whether you’re on the hunt for the perfect worn-in leather jacket, a handmade tchotchke, or a grungy ‘80s band t-shirt, Vintage in the Zoo has what you’re looking for.
Shopping local, engaging with the community, and celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit is at the cornerstone of Vintage in the Zoo.
Bring your family, friends, kids, and dogs along to enjoy the fresh air and support Michigan makers and sellers.
Vintage in the Zoo also hosts indoor winter markets and a sister market in Grand Rapids. To learn more, visit the Vintage in the Zoo website or Facebook page.
