Yes, this is the Prehistoric Forest. First opened in the early 1960s, this strange place closed in 1999. Take a glimpse of what this place once was and the aging monsters that remain.

During its early days, the property had a tropical theme, with a waterfall, palm trees, a volcano, even a waterslide.

Sculptor James Q. Sidwell fashioned the prehistoric beasts to appear to be living life as they would tens of millions of years ago.

These days, the creatures have seen better days, but they remain, although buried under overgrowth.
