Old Sturbridge Village is hosting ticketed winter walks through its recreated 19th-century village this February. It’s the perfect way to soak up the beauty of the season and learn about life in the 1800s.

Visitors can wander along the frosty streets, watch demonstrations of traditional crafts and skills, and talk to the costumed staff.

And the staff here aren’t just old tour guides – they’re all historians! That means they have answers to all your burning questions about life in the 1800s.

Some of the buildings are currently closed to visitors, but the village plans on reopening them with occupancy limits as the season progresses. Call ahead if you’re interested in a particular building to check on its status!

The trade shops will be active, so you can watch people working on beautiful needlework projects and crafting stunning pottery at the potter’s wheel.

The village is open for ticketed walks between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., February 12-21 and 26-28. Admission is half price in February, so don’t delay!
