Step Inside An Abandoned Air Force Base That’s Been Left To Crumble In Massachusetts

North Truro Air Force Base, once a bustling community for air force families, now stands abandoned and crumbling.

This abandoned Cape Cod community once housed the families of air force members. Today, the sprawling base is empty and crumbling. Take a look at this video from YouTube channel "Exploring With Josh" that takes us inside this massive complex.

North Truro Air force base was a general surveillance air force station, and was active through 1994.

At least 50 homes stand vacant and abandoned on the base.

During the Cold War, the base scanned the airwaves around Cape Cod to detect Soviet bombers.
