Catoctin Colorfest is one of our favorite festivals in Maryland. Located in the charming town of Thurmont, this exciting fall celebration comes every year on the second full weekend in October. This year's Colorfest will take place on Oct. 12 and 13, 2024. Attendance and support of the event are very important as it's the single biggest fundraising opportunity for many local churches, civic organizations, and non-profits. But come for the fun, including awesome crafts, clothing, and all of the delicious food you would expect. Beginning in 1963, this exciting event has grown into one of the largest outdoor craft shows on the East Coast! Let's take a look at this unique festival in Maryland.
