One of the best antique shops in Maine is located right on the banks of the Androsoggin River.

In addition to being located in a lovely place, you're going to love just how much stuff is inside this sprawling building.

Dating back to 1809, this building has some serious history. Developers of the Brunswick Cotton Manufacturing Company built the first cotton mill in Maine to make yarn. The river's power came from the mighty Pejepscot Falls.

The mill changed hands over the years, but in 1941, Cabot Manufacturing Company sols the mill to the Verney Corporation. Verney stopped production in the 1950s.

As you're walking through the aisles, you'll want to imagine what used to happen within these walls. History permeates - both in the memory and in what you'll find here!

There are over 160 vendors under these 16-foot ceilings.

Each display is arranged as with a theme - based on the vendor in that section.

You'll find tons of period pieces, arranged just the way you might have found them decades ago.

And it's easy to find yourself counting all the things you'll want to take home.

Even if you're not in the market to bring anything home, meandering through the halls is fun all on its own.
