Don’t Miss The First-Ever Weenie Spaghetti Festival In Louisiana
Louisiana certainly knows how to throw a festival. Even with well over 500 festivals a year, we’re still always bringing new festivals to the Bayou State. The Weenie Spaghetti Festival is a brand new festival in Louisiana and it’s taking over the Houma Courthouse Square in just a few weeks. Here’s what you need to know:
Weenie Spaghetti is a regional dish that’s a big deal in southeastern Louisiana.
Anyone who grew up in the Houma-Thibodaux Area can confirm it’s a staple around these parts.
The Weenie Spaghetti Festival and Cook-Off takes place on January 13, 2024, at the Houma Courthouse Square.
The festival will run from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
While weenie spaghetti is the star of the show, that’s not the only dish folks will be competing over.
There will also be a chili cook-off and a Bloody Mary contest.
Think you’ve got a winning recipe for any of the three?

All of the best Louisiana festivals have some toe-tapping tunes, and the Weenie Spaghetti Festival is no different. Attendees will also enjoy live music from the Cajun Music Preservation Society and Nonc Nu & Da Wild Matous.
Admission is $10 and all proceeds from the festival will go towards
Luminate Houma and Flood the Love, two local organizations that help promote live music from local musicians in the Houma-Thibodaux Area.
The family-friendly festival will also have a kid’s area with crafting, noodle art, and face painting, plus tons of weenie spaghetti and chili to try! Oh, and of course, some delicious Bloody Mary samples. Bring the whole family to support Louisiana's newest festival!
