Make the Most of February by Attending the Tulip Festival in Louisiana
Want to brighten up your month? This February, head to Yellow Van Farms for the best tulip festival in Louisiana. It's got something fun for everyone!
One thing I love about Louisiana is that we don’t need to wait until March to celebrate spring. For many of you, flowers are already budding and brightening up your gardens. But if you’re not growing your own blooms (or even if you are), there is a dreamy flower festival in Louisiana waiting to cheer up your mood. This February, head to Yellow Van Farms in Loranger to celebrate the second annual Louisiana Tulip Festival. Between picking your own flowers and all the live entertainment, you don’t want to miss all the fun at this tulip festival in Louisiana.
Located in the heart of Tangipahoa Parish is Yellow Van Farms, a charming family-operated flower farm whose mission is to grow the “freshest and most exquisite flowers.”
As one of the new flower farms in the area, Yellow Van is certainly making waves. After a successful 2024 season, the farm is hosting its second tulip festival, which promises to be bigger and better than last year.
The one-day festival kicks off on February 22 at 10 a.m. on the farm. And what I love the most about the event is that there are tons of activities for all to enjoy. So, be sure to bring the entire family to celebrate the spring.
The kids will love the bouncy house, the arts and crafts, and the play area. This could literally keep the little ones busy for hours. For adults, over 20 local vendors will be present with goodies for sale. Plus, Yellow Van Farms will have a booth selling their own goodies, too. Chances are, you’ll leave this festival with some adorable gifts for yourself or your loved ones.
If you get hungry at the festival, several food trucks will sell BBQ, catfish, crawfish, and more. If that isn’t enough, you can listen to live music from a local band and dance the day away.
Of course, the festival's highlight is to frolic in the tulip fields and pick your own vibrant blooms. And when you’re done creating your colorful tulip bouquet, stop by the photo station and snap a pic (or two) to remember all the fun you had at this tulip festival in Louisiana.
Tickets for this festival are on sale now, so be sure to visit the Yellow Van Farms website to buy yours today. They’re selling out fast, so don’t hesitate!
If you can’t make it to the tulip festival, have no worries; the farm hosts several events throughout the year. I recommend that you follow Yellow Van Farms on Facebook to hear all about their upcoming events.
