Starting from mid-September all the way until Spring, you can pretty much bet there’s a festival happening every weekend somewhere in Louisiana. As fall quickly approaches, don’t forget to mark these 9 festivals on your calendar.

1. Alligator Festival

2. Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival

Celebrate Labor Day weekend by heading out to Morgan City for the 82nd annual Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival. 3. Oldies But Goodies Fest & Smokin’ Oldies Cook-Off

Grab your poodle skirt and bell bottoms, because this festival takes you back to the good old days. 4. Kiwanis Pepper Festival

5. Highland Jazz and Blues Festival

6. Gueydan Duck Festival

7. Fried Chicken Festival

8. Zydeco Festival

9. Sugar Cane Festival
