Celebration in the Oaks in City Park is a popular holiday light festival featuring impressive displays and vintage rides.
It’s that time of year again! In about a week or so, the city will slowly start transforming into the holiday spirit, and we’ll keep you informed of the best places to go. Celebration in the Oaks opens the day after Thanksgiving and if you’ve never been, you’re missing out on one of the best light festivals in the country.
More than 165,000 people visit Celebration in the Oaks over in City Park every year.
It takes an impressive 558,350 LED bulbs and 32,800 feet of rope lights to light up Celebration in the Oaks.
Come stroll through 25 acres of twinkling lights and amazing light displays.
The displays vary from Christmas trees to menorahs, and of course, everyone’s favorite—the Who Dat tree.
Celebration in the Oaks also features vintage rides, including an antique wooden carousel and a miniature train that tours the park.
You can also grab a hot chocolate, or something a bit stronger while you’re walking around.
The attraction opens November and runs until January 1st.
