The Wichita Toy Train Club Hiding In Kansas Proves There’s Still A Kid In All Of Us

Wichita Toy Train Club is a hidden gem in Kansas, perfect for train enthusiasts and families.

Train lovers, have you seen this spot? This toy train club in Kansas is unknown to many, but we want to share it with everyone! If you're planning any future road trips with the train lover in your life, make sure to add this place to your list as well. It'll be an excellent addition to any trip through the area!

Welcome to a little diamond hidden out of plain sight to many, the Wichita Toy Train Club.

What started in 1985 from train enthusiasts grew to an official club and expanded into a building to be later filled with models with plenty of scenery. They've moved around over the years, but have found their permanent home here, where different layouts really show you the range toy trains can have.

Many of the models are very detailed, with lights, miniature people, and tons of detail. You'll feel like you're peering down into a real miniature world as you watch the train move along through town.

The kids can also have tons of fun, from controlling trains themselves to playing with much smaller wooden blocks that aren't in danger of being broken by tiny hands.

Not everything is all about running the trains and learning their history, either. Every once in a while you'll find they love knocking over their less valuable models just to see them tip and tumble.

The staff is full of knowledge on many types of model trains, and won't have any issue answering your questions.

Not only do they have regular visitation, but they also host birthday parties! During normal operation, they are usually open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

For more information about closings, events, and more, you should visit the official website or the official Facebook page.
