Iowa has some great amusement parks, from the world-famous Adventureland to the charmingly retro Arnolds Park and the fantastical Lost Island. But for the littlest amusement-seekers out there, they might just be a little too big. Fortunately, Davenport has a hidden surprise just for them. This miniature amusement park in Iowa is located in a baseball stadium, Modern Woodmen Park, which plays host to the Quad Cities River Bandits. Next to the ballpark is a small carnival hosting a carousel, a towering Ferris wheel, and even a kid-sized roller coaster! Packed with fun for the little ones and some thrills for bigger kids-at-heart, this mini-park is a new game-day tradition and is also open on weekends even when there is no home game.

Modern Woodmen Park is a great place to spend the day watching a ball game, but it also has a big surprise.

Just over the horizon, as you watch the players, you can see the miniature amusement park that will enchant the youngest guests at the ballpark.

This is a full-fledged carnival, complete with a vintage carousel and rides suited for both the littlest guests and the thrill-seekers in the crowd.

The towering Ferris wheel provides one of the best views in Davenport and is the first thing you'll see when you walk into the park.

The park has no shortage of thrilling flat rides, as the riders on this baseball-themed contraption would no doubt tell you!

The signature attraction is definitely the Genesis Kidz Coaster, a wild spinning coaster that roars over the heads of spectators!

Combined with a ball game or the weekend farmers' market, you can definitely spend a whole day at Modern Woodmen Park.
