When you have this overwhelming urge to shop, there is nothing more satisfying than going to the mall. The question is: where should you go? Here are seven shopping malls in Indiana worth driving to!
1.) Castleton Square Mall - Indianapolis
This mall was built in 1972, Interestingly enough, the 1970's was a pretty popular decade for mall construction in the state of Indiana. It remains one of the busiest malls in the state. Check out the store directory here.
2.) Circle Centre - downtown Indiana
You really cannot say you visited and enjoyed everything Indianapolis has to offer until you've been to the Circle Centre Mall. It's a beautiful indoor shopping mall with dozes of great stores.
3.) College Mall - Bloomington
Located in Bloomington, this mall has more than 80 awesome stores for you to explore. Check out the store directory here.
4.) Edinburgh Premium Outlets - Edinburgh
No list would be complete without outlets! Edinburgh Premium Outlets boasts a huge amount of stores, all of which (at least in theory) offer great deals on higher end products. Check the store list here.
5.) Washington Square Mall - eastern Indianapolis
This mall was once a thriving place to be, but admittedly now it's less than 50% occupied. It does still boast some quality stores though.
6.) Muncie Mall - Muncie
This is one of many malls owned by Simon Property Group in the state of Indiana. This particular mall was built in 1970 and seems to have just about every store you could want.
7.) Tippecanoe Mall - Lafayette
Also owned by Simon Property Group, this mall is a great choice if you prefer indoor malls. Consider going to this mall during the Christmas season. They always have a lot of neat special attractions inside for the holidays! Check out their store directory here.
Obviously, this isn't a complete list of Indiana malls as I couldn't visit every single one in the entire state. Yes, I did leave Metropolis off of the list.
