All Aboard The Reindeer Ride Express, A Christmas-Themed Train Ride Through Indiana

The holidays are hear again and that means a whole host of annual events come to life. Among them is the Nickel Plate Express Christmas train. With multiple departure dates between November 11, 2023, and December 23, 2023, the Nickel Plate Express is hosting one of its most popular events of the year once again.

Locals look forward to the Reindeer Ride Express each holiday season and are already booking their tickets for this Christmas-themed train ride through central Indiana.

Each ride is an hour and fifteen minutes long and includes familiar Christmas carols, stories, hot cocoa, spiked beverages for the adults, and lovely views of the Hoosier landscape.

Each participant will also receive a cookie, a commemorative craft, and a visit with Santa.

Guests board in Forest Park and go through Cicero and Arcadia before finishing up in Noblesville.

There is a brief stop along the ride at Santa's Workshop for guests to enjoy a light display. The train is also decorated in about 2,000 lights for patrons to admire as they enter and exit.
