You Could Easily Spend All Weekend At This Enormous Hawaii Swap Meet

The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet in Hawaii offers a vast array of vendors, unique treasures, and local foods, making it a must-visit for bargain hunters and tourists.

What the Hawaiian Islands lack in the luxuries of mainland shopping, they make up for with beautiful beaches, stellar views and a laid-back lifestyle, as well as a few incredible flea markets and swap meets. Whether you’re looking for a good bargain, a unique treasure, or simply a fun way to spend a weekend afternoon, you won’t be disappointed at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet.

The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet opened in 1979 and has since become the state’s largest open-air flea market, featuring more than 400 vendors, crafters, and artists from around the world.

Held every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday in the Aloha Stadium parking lot from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., adult admission will cost you just $1.

While you will undoubtedly find the Aloha Spirit around every corner, it is unfortunately not something that can be bought. What is for sale, however, includes gorgeous plants and flowers…

...clothing, jewelry, and accessories...

...handcrafted items, artwork, and antiques from around the world…

...and a plethora of island-themed souvenirs.

Oh, and you can’t forget the ukuleles!

Have friends or family visiting soon? The swap meet also just so happens to be one of the cheapest places to get fresh leis on Oahu.

If you tire of shopping the seemingly endless rows of bargains, take a break and grab a bite to eat from one of the many vendors. You can find everything from shave ice and sweet Hawaiian fruits to hearty island favorites like kalua pork and loco moco.

The most popular swap meet in the Hawaiian Islands, visitors could easily spend an entire Saturday exploring this massive market — and still come back for more on Sunday.

The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet is, of course, located at the Aloha Stadium (the address is 99-500 Salt Lake Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96818). This massive event is held every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, visit their website.
