Stone Mountain Has A Glowing Pumpkin Trail And Fall Celebration Coming To Georgia And It’ll Make Your Season Magical

Stone Mountain Park is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in the Peach State, and it's especially magical during the Stone Mountain Pumpkin Festival. Fall in Georgia means plenty of great festivals and events, and one of our favorites is the fall celebration at Stone Mountain Park, called Play By Day, Glow By Night. You'll find plenty of family-friendly fun here Fridays through Sundays Sept. 16 - Oct. 29, 2023, including a pumpkin light show, a dance party parade, and even glowing dinosaurs. Check it out!

Celebrations of fall in Georgia are often spooky, which can be great, don't get us wrong.

However, fall events of the family-friendly variety, such as the Stone Mountain Pumpkin Festival, are just as much fun for the little ones, or when we're easily scared as grownups.

During the "Play By Day" portion of this pumpkin trail in Georgia, we love the variety of fall-themed entertainment, including character meet-and-greets, a scenic railroad ride, jugglers, and a maze.

"Glow By Night" features even more fun, with a walk-through glowing dinosaur experience, and a glowing pumpkin trail.

This fascinating journey takes us through 10 themed spaces with more than 40 scenes, and classic storybook tales all lit up.

Something new this year, before the Pumpkin Light Show (pictured), is an exciting display of color-changing drones synchronized to music.

We'll see spiders, bats, and pumpkins, during this 12-minute-long extravaganza.

See the World's Largest Pumpkin Light Show, an immersive experience that features great special effects and holiday-themed music, and a giant glowing pumpkin tree.

Please note that access to the Pumpkin Light Show is available for an additional fee.

Each night's finale includes an Enchanted Glow-A-Long Parade that's a blast for the whole family.
