Each Saturday morning, from May to September, outdoor farmers markets are held in the open air pavilion. Artisan crafters and local farmers come to sell their wares, making for a vibrant atmosphere.

Inside, you'll find plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, much of it grown in Georgia or the Southeast.

The meats are especially popular, and you won't find many places with fresher options.

While many opt to purchase specialty items here, there's plenty of variety for stocking your pantry with regular staples, too.

There's even an on-site cafe to pick up breakfast, lunch, or (and!) ice cream.

Don't skip out on desserts! Whether you're buying for a holiday or just in the mood for something sweet, the pies here are divine.

The worst thing about a visit to Farmview Market is not walking out with everything you want to try!

I'm a sucker for sauces and seasonings, and I'm always intrigued every time I walk down these aisles.

This is such a great specialty grocery store in Madison, GA, and I think it's definitely worth a visit if you're a fan of locally-grown food.
