We Visited The Brand New Exhibit At The World Of Coca-Cola In Georgia

There are a lot of great cities and towns spread all over the Peach State, but there's something special about Atlanta. The city's rich history, diverse neighborhoods, numerous events, and countless attractions all combine to make it one of the most special places in Georgia. Despite its flaws (umm...traffic, anyone?), the state capital is amazing and has so much to offer visitors. One of the most popular attractions in Atlanta is the World of Coca-Cola. The two-story museum celebrates Georgia's favorite beverage, and has plenty of interactive exhibits that can entertain the entire family. In spring 2023, World of Coca-Cola opened up its newest exhibit: Scent Discovery. I recently visited Atlanta for a day and spent some time at the World of Coca-Cola checking out the new exhibit.

It's so easy to see why this is one of the top attractions in Atlanta!

The 20-acre complex features thousands of pieces of memorabilia related to Georgia's favorite beverage.

The artifacts here date back all the way to Coca-Cola's invention in 1886.

You'll even get to see how Coca-Cola operates on a global scale. The company offers more than 200 brands worldwide, producing everything under the sun: sodas, juices, health drinks, waters, and more.

One of my favorite things about the World of Coca-Cola is that it's got something for everyone. If you want to stop and delve deeper into the history of the company, there's plenty of information here you can read.

But it's also fascinating just to walk through and glance at all the items on display here.

Another great aspect of this beloved Atlanta attraction is how many interactive areas there are. The Scent Discovery certainly falls into this category.

I visited not long after Scent Discovery first opened, and it was such a cool exhibit. It's made up of rows of boxes that you open up and sniff inside of. Each contains a unique scent that's related to a beverage produced by Coca-Cola.

The boxes are arranged by scent category (citrus, fruity, floral, woody, and spicy), but otherwise, you're given no clue as to what you'll be sniffing!
