Dig Into Tasty Treats From Food Trucks At This Summer Concert Series In Delaware

Bellevue State Park's summer concert series offers diverse music performances, food trucks, and craft beer in a scenic setting.

Nothing says summer quite like outdoor concerts. The Bellevue State Park summer concert series promises to be a great time in Wilmington this year, with an array of talented performers on the schedule, and fun extras like food trucks and craft beer. So get ready to pull up a blanket or chair!

Once home to two generations of Delaware's famous DuPont family, Bellevue State Park now welcomes the public to enjoy outdoor recreation, picnics, and more in a beautiful setting.

Bellevue State Park encompasses 328 acres, and features several venues available for different events such as weddings and family gatherings.

There are miles of trails to explore, a pond, an arboretum, and a running track with 20 exercise stations along the way.

There's even an equestrian center within the park. Called Wellspring Farm, the equestrian center has indoor and outdoor riding arenas and offers private and group riding lessons.

And of course, there's the Bandshell, where Bellevue's outdoor summer concert series is held.

From bluegrass to reggae to Irish folk and Beatles tribute bands, there's something for everyone on the schedule this summer.

And the food truck lineup is pretty awesome too, with featured food trucks including Uncle John's BBQ, Turbo Mexico Cuisine, Gotta Lotta Gelata, and KOI on the Go (featuring Asian fusion cuisine).

Wilmington Brew Works has been known to make an appearance too, pouring craft beer brewed right in Wilmington.

The Bellevue State Park summer concert series takes place most Sunday and Thursday evenings from June through August - you can view the full schedule (and all upcoming performers) on the Bellevue State Park Summer Concert Series webpage. Visit the Bellevue State Park Facebook page for regular updates on cancellations due to weather and more, or call the summer concert hotline at (302) 761-6965.

Remember that while the concerts are free, regular park entrance fees are in effect: $4 daily for in-state travelers and $8 daily for out-of-state travelers, with annual passes also available.
